Q: I have installed new batteries but the device will not turn on. What could be the problem?
A: The batteries go in differently than seems obvious. Look at the contacts in the battery compartment. One of the raised contact buttons is slightly larger than the other. One of the batteries negative end goes to this contact. The other battery goes in the reverse direction.It will then work correctly.
